For illustration let’s say that the primary belief is that “the
boss doesn’t like me.”
Because of the belief that the boss doesn’t like me, I start to
think “why should I try hard, I’m not going to get ahead.”
Then. because I don’t try hard and do my best work, the boss
really doesn’t like me!
The cycle looks like this:
